Good hair goes everywhere.

Before you
go anywhere.

Everything we know about choosing, wearing and caring for hair that is allowed to behave like hair.

01What does ROVE mean by raw hair?

For us, raw is a product standard, not a mood word. The goal is donor-lot traceability, natural color and pattern variation, intact cuticle behavior, minimal processing, no artificial curl-setting and no unnecessary silicone coating.

02Why doesn’t every bundle look identical?

Because naturally textured donor hair moves between waves, spirals, curls and occasional irregularities. We match bundles within a pattern family and donor lot, but we do not erase the variation that makes the hair real.

03Can I swim, work out and wash the hair?

Yes. Water is part of how we test the hair. Salt, chlorine, sweat and mineral-rich water can still dry any hair, so rinse promptly, cleanse gently when needed and follow with moisture. Your order will include care notes for its specific lot.

04How many bundles will I need?

That depends on length, desired fullness, leave-out and installation method. As a general planning guide, shorter lengths often need fewer bundles and longer lengths need more. We will publish exact weight and fullness guidance with every drop.

05Will the hair arrive perfectly defined?

No, and that is intentional. Hair may arrive gently cleansed and air-dried, with its pattern visible but not cosmetically set. A wash, condition and your preferred styling method will show you how your lot lives.

06What if my lot has gray strands?

Naturally occurring silver can appear in some donor lots. We list it on the lot card rather than quietly dyeing it away. Some lots may have none, some a few, and occasional silver-rich lots may be released on their own.

07Does raw hair shed or tangle?

All wefted hair can shed, and textured hair can catch on itself when dry or neglected. Weft construction, installation and care all matter. We test for excessive shedding, matting and persistent odor before a lot is approved.

08Why are curly lengths limited to 10–20 inches?

Truly minimally processed curly donor hair is limited, especially at longer lengths. We would rather release a smaller honest range than manufacture consistency with artificial curl processing.

09Can I color the hair?

Raw hair can often be colored, but every chemical service changes it. Strand-test first and work with a professional who understands textured extensions. Lightening may alter the pattern and reduce longevity.

10How do I choose my texture?

SOL is straight with natural movement. TIDE has a soft, relaxed wave. LAGO has deeper, dimensional waves. VERDE has full, variable curls. Choose the movement you love; natural variation is part of each texture.
